The Junkers F13 first flew in 1919. It was the world’s first civilian aircraft to use a metal internal frame and was mostly skinned with tinplate. Designed as a transport aircraft, it was probably the most luxurious plane in the world at the time, with heating and interior lights in the passenger cabin. But these luxuries did not extend to the crew as both pilots had to sit in the open cockpit!
Our model is complete with printed corrugated effect covering. Each model is supplied with a pre-installed brushless motor and a matching 25A speed controller. The wingspan is 1225 mm.
Either Lufthansa or Swiss Danziger Luftpost livery.
